This fairtrade fortnight, as the purveyors of the world’s finest fairtrade pants, we were back to our fun-loving form with the launch of our gorgeous spring collection at the Pigalle club on Piccadilly Circus.

Teaming up with the Co-operative and the Time for Tease burlesque troupe, we put on an afternoon of cheeky fun, delicious pie and gorgeous new pants! It was a stunning 90 minute burlesque show of eight spectacular acts with complementary pie and fairtrade tea in London’s trendiest 1950s themed music venue.
The packed out shows included traditional fan dances, balloon popping, cheeky ball games and even a bit of boy-lesque! Julian, an investment banker and one of the audience at the event proclaimed: “Wow! That was the most exciting fairtrade event I’ve ever heard of! It wasn’t just the gorgeous acts and pants models that got me excited but the abundance of fairtrade products that were swapped at this trendy London hotspot! This is fairtrade with attitude that you’ve got to take seriously!!”
Over £2000 was raised from the ticket sales and were donated to a new charity set up by Pants to Poverty called Pi Foundation to fund a new programme in India releasing children out of bonded labour and into school. Even if you missed it, you can still support this project by buying your pants here – £1 per pair is donated to the programmes in India.
